Nepal Earthquake Fundraiser
We have now added our Fundraising Yak Blankets to our online store, so if you can't make it in to our Pop Up Store at 109 Greville st, Prahran, you can still support efforts by buying online. Check it out in our store at www.nineyaks.com.au.
We will be continuing our fundraising for the month of May, so get in and buy yourself a warm, woolly blanket and support those who need it most.
For each Yak Wool Blanket sold, we are donating the entire amount to Oxfam's Earthquake Fund, or the Dhulikhel Hospital, based in Dhulikhel, Nepal, depending on who needs it most. For only $39, you can stay warm in winter as well as know that you have helped those affected by the earthquake - this can mean through many different avenues, including medical care, access to water and sanitation, accommodation assistance and re-building efforts.
We are also accepting donations of winter jackets and blankets for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre's Winter Appeal at our Pop Up Store in Prahran.
