Nepal Earthquake Fundraiser
Nine Yaks have been working closely with Nepal for a number of years and have a very close bond. We are worried about our families, friends, colleagues, neighbours and all those affected. We are devastated to understand the effects of this month's earthquake.
As we can't be there to help in person, we are trying to do as much as we can from here, which is why we are raising funds from our Pop Up Store at 109 Greville st, Prahran. For each Yak Wool Blanket sold, we are donating the entire amount to Oxfam's Earthquake Fund. For only $39, you can stay warm in winter as well as know that you have helped those affected by the earthquake - this can mean through many different avenues, including medical care, access to water and sanitation, accommodation assistance and re-building efforts.
We are also accepting donations of winter jackets and blankets for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre's Winter Appeal.
